So very sorry to miss her services. We were out of town. Bertha you always put a smile on my face! I loved our many years of coffee and cigarettes at Elsie’s house in between bus runs! We had a special bond, always saw things the same way. You were such a great Mom and Grandma! Life isn’t perfect and times were hard! Always loved our friendship!

We are so sorry for your loss! I really enjoyed talking to Bertha about succulents. She loved telling me about the boys and KP. I am sorry we did not get to know you all better before we moved. We are thinking about you all!

To Bertha’s family, I’m sorry for your loss. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow. Bertha is a gem and I’m not sure which one because she showed so many of them, but one I am sure of is the diamond and boy did she shine. Her smile, her laughter but most of all her love. Now she is with God and he has made her gold wings which she deserves. Keep watching over all of us. Fly high. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten. I will always love you!!
