I was shocked and saddened to see that Dee Dee had passed and she will be missed by many. 27 years ago, I walked into the Poolesville Tuesday meeting where Dee Dee & her friend Inga welcomed me with open arms; making me feel welcomed from the start. They say that you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression and this spirit of belonging has remained all these years after. I know that she had been in the hospital but had no idea that she had died. She was an inspiration to so many people and we know that she is in a special place in heaven. God bless all of you in her family.
