It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jeannie - a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and aunt who left us far too soon at the age of 49. Jeannie passed away on January 1st, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering strength that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew her.

As a mother, Jeannie was the heart and soul of her family. She raised her children with boundless love, nurturing them with patience, wisdom, and strength. Her love was her greatest gift, and she shaped their lives with her unwavering devotion. Her children were the light of her life and she cherished every moment spent with them. She gave them the best of herself.

Jeannie was a loving, kindhearted daughter, sister and aunt.

She was the embodiment of loyalty and care. She will be remembered as a supportive presence, always willing to listen and talk about anything and everything. Jeannie adored her nieces and nephews. She showered them with love, encouragement, and playful energy creating memories they will cherish forever. Jeannie’s family was very important to her. She loved them immensely.

Besides her family, Jeannie found joy and fulfillment in arts and crafts. She often spent time coloring, latch hooking, crocheting, painting, drawing, stenciling, and making bracelets. She always loved listening to music, especially her “old school jams.” Jeannie was someone who loved to keep photographs of her family, as it was her way to reminisce and feel connected to those she loved most. She took great pride in developing and displaying her family photos throughout her home and in various photo albums. Those pictures certainly made her happy.

Though Jeannie’s time with us was far too brief, she touched the lives and hearts of everyone she encountered. She will be remembered for her beautiful soul and generous spirit.

She is preceded in death by her beloved father, James Gardner. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Makayla) Gardner and James Gardner, her mother, Betty Gardner, her siblings, Amy (Brett) Bledsoe, Jamie (Julio) Diaz and Jimmy (Julie) Gardner, her sweet nieces and nephews, as well as a circle of friends and family who are better for having known her.

May you rest in peace, Jeannie. You are deeply loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
