Leora Marie Beitzel, 102,  passed away peacefully on November 29, 2023 at Peace Health at Dennett Road Nursing Home, Oakland, MD.

She was born in Humbert, PA to the late Sherman P. & Anna L. Tressler.

She was a loving wife to her husband, Randall Ray Beitzel until his untimely death on January 22, 1967.

Leora was a wonderful Christian lady and a member of the Oak Park Church of the Brethren, Oakland, MD and had previously been a member of the Mennonite Church.

She is survived by her children; Florence (Douglas) Reed, Esther (James) Kidwell, Janet (Rolan) Clark, Dale (Karen), Linda (Thomas) Gallo, Connie (Douglas) House, Harry, Teresa (Steve) Berbes, over 29 grandchildren, over 35 great-grandchildren, and over 6 great-great grandchildren, one sister; Shirley (Ken) Beitzel and one sister-in-law; Jean Tressler and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons; Dean and Steve, granddaughter; Michelle, brothers; Parke, Jim, Paul, Charlie and sisters; Ferne and Dorothy.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Monday, December 4th at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Rd, Barnesville, MD 20838, where a funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 5th at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Monocacy Cemetery, 19801 W. Hunter Road, Beallsville, MD.
