LOVING YOU ~ THE SWEETEST REMEMBRANCES OF YESTERYEAR

From: LILLIAN ROBERTS

My deepest condolences to all the Cowdery family. The Lord works in mysterious ways. Sally has been on my mind the entire holiday. Thus, I just had to make contact. It had been too long. I am sorry the news is sad but I am sure glad that I just went on with day to day activity when a former neighbor family was grieving the loss of their Mom. I send the family my blessing and may your grief be coupled with wonderful and heartfelt memories.

It is 10:30 on Friday and I just found out. Otherwise I would have been at the service. As I sit here a lot of fond memories come back to me. Your Mom was always great to me and given she is your Mom and you guys where some of the best friends I ever had these memories come roaring back. Although I am very sorry for you loss as anytime a parent passes it is sad, she lived a long and fruitful life and one must be grateful for that. She also can be proud of you guys because in the end her lasting memory will be lived through you. To all four of you my best wishes.

I am very sad to hear this news about Mary though I know she had faced health challenges. I am praying for the whole family and am sure that even as you feel the loss of her physical presence you will draw a measure of comfort as you remember her and celebrate her life and influence on your lives. The years of love you have shared together lives on even as you await reunion in heaven. I know your beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother is safe with God.
