Sometime in 1986, when I first arrived in the District, I worked part time in the same company with Willie Hernandez and his wife, Daisy. Daisy, Will and I soon became fast friends. Through them, I met the rest of Daisy’s family, her Mom and Dad, her then young son Carlo, her sisters and the rest of their extended family. I was quickly grafted into this loving family and when I married Lewis, it just got better.

On Tuesday, 16th of February, Daisy’s Dad, Romeo Domingo, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife, Chit, and family. I will remember him as a kindly man, always with the easy laugh and gentle manners. A family man whose love for his own extended to all and sundry who darkened his doorway. A good friend. Romy will always be remembered as a loving and caring husband, a supportive father whose daughters could do no wrong and who loved the men they married, a doting granddad. Romy was always a welcoming presence at family gatherings that brought together wonderful people, great food, stories, music and laughter.

Our get togethers won’t be the same without you but, you can bet, you will always be alive in our stories even as we create new ones. Logan will listen to our stories and we’ll make sure he gets to know and remember his great granddad.

Happy trails, Daddy Groovy.

I still remember when i was young, you were there at our ABC carenderia, having beers with tatay.. i still remember your voice, your smile, laughters, and giving me some advices. I love you Tito Romy. I'll be praying for your soul. Rest in peace...

Our deepest sympathy & sincerest condolences. God's Heavenly Garden Sometimes God picks the flower that is still in full bloom; sometimes the rosebud's chosen that we feel He's' picked too soon. Sometimes the flower is fading with petals floating down, but God knows the perfect time to gather flowers from the ground. There is a heavenly garden in which God takes great pleasure because He's placed within it the loved ones that we treasure. He walks among the blossoms giving them eternal rest, and I know that it must please Him because He chose your very best.
