Sherry Ann Carter, 70, of Boyds, MD, passed away on August 13, 2024.

She was the loving wife to George F. Carter.

Born on March 21, 1954 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Edward H. and Donaline M. (Baker) Wallach.

Along with her husband, Sherry is survived by her children; Deanna Weand and Justin Carter and five grandchildren; Sebastian, Henry, Oliver, Adelaide and Claire, her nephew; Matthew Wallach, wife; Cindy and their children; Allison, Natalie and Danny. 

She was preceded in death by one son; Brandon Carter and one brother; John Edward Wallach.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, August 17th from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, MD, where a service will begin at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow at Monocacy Cemetery, 19801 W Hunter Rd, Beallsville, MD 20839. Friends are invited back to the Upper Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Department for a reception.
