David Henry Williams, 56, of Germantown, MD, passed away on October 16, 2026.

David was the loving husband to Angela Marie Williams; married in 2008; dated since 1991.

​

David was survived by his mother; Elizabeth (Daniels) Williams, his wife; Angela Marie Williams, four children; Amber Williams, Brittany Williams, Jessica Williams, and Nathaniel Williams,  four grandchildren; Amanda Williams, Kayden Luke, Anthony Huon, and Kahlani Luke and two siblings; Jean Richardson, and Tyrone Williams. He was loved by all his extended family.

Born on February 7, 1970 in Ahoskie, North Carolina. He was the son of the late John Henry Williams Sr., and Elizabeth (Daniels) Williams. Raised in Newark, New Jersey, lived his life in Montgomery County, Maryland where he started his legacy. 

​

David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He had a very genuine heart. He did anything and everything for his family. Family was the main thing that kept him going in life. He loved every single one of them. David was known for being the life of the party. He always knew how to bring everyone together with his signature "soul train line" no matter what social gathering it was. He knew how to keep a laugh on everyone's face. He had a one of a kind laugh. David was always known for his ashiness. His children came up with his signature name; the Ash Man. David enjoyed his family vacations to the beach, water parks, amusement parks, and any holiday related events. David always knew how to shut down a conversation; this man had no chill at all. He had the stankest face of a lifetime. David also had a taste for appetite; always wanting to try new things; always experimenting with different foods. David had a taste for entertainment; movies, shows, and music. David loved the New York Giants. He would rep them faithfully.

David was preceded in death by his father; John Henry Williams Sr., his uncle; Maxie Jr. Daniels (Snap), his Aunt; Betty Branch and his sister's; Gloria Daniels (Poochie) and Faith Williams.

​

David will be a very missed man. David will NEVER be forgotten! Until we all meet again. We all love you!

​

The family will be receiving friends for the visitation on Friday, October 23rd from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, MD, where the service will be held on Saturday, October 24th, at 11:00 AM.

​

 In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Angela Williams and their family.
