Donna was like a sister to me. She always had a big smile, a hug and a warm welcome for all. Donna loved my brother Bob with all her heart. When my mother Helen and I last visited with Donna at the end of October, Donna's face lit up in a smile of recognition for Mom. I played a list of great Motown tunes for her and could tell that she was actively listening to them. Donna even told me that she liked the music. From now on, hearing Motown music means Donna is letting me know she's nearby. Ain't no mountain high enough, ain't no valley low enough, ain't no river wide enough...

We are so sorry to hear about my cousin Donna’s passing. She was a true inspiration. She dedicated so much of herself to researching our family history & the compilation of the website. She will truly be missed but never forgotten. Her legacy will live on. Although we won’t be able to come and tell her goodbye, she will always be in our hearts. We love you.

Bob - you brought peace, love, and happiness to Donna. This is what she searched and deserved her whole life. Donna lived a tumultuous life until you came into her World. You are and were a compassionate husband and treated her as an equal. You provided her the love she dreamed about and as your Brother In-law, I am so glad she had you in her life. Thank you for all that you did to show her what a loving relationship is all about. You embraced her children and treated them as yours. You protected and provided comfort and always put family first as she did. I am so grateful and thankful of the love you had for Donna and will always shine in my heart. Please let me know what I can do to ease your pain and always just a phone call away. Thank you and see you soon. Much love, Rick

Donna was a great Mom, she was an amazingly compassionate person who loved life, family and lots of busy work. She was a pioneer, a visionary and always thought of others. I couldn’t have asked for a kinder soul to be in my life…as she treated me like her daughter when I first had dinner at her home 33 years ago. She was never cruel, she never judged and she never spoke poorly of others. What a blessing it was to have had an authentically kind person to share so many fond memories with. Her laugh was magnanimous and her collections were vast. She was truly a diamond. Thank you, Nonna, for being my Mother-In-Law, Jax’s Nonna, and a strong presence. I’ll miss your hugs and your warmth, as it was an honor to have had you embrace me into your family.
