Eula C. Wilkes

January 26, 1944 - August 29, 2025

Eula C. Wilkes, 81, of Dickerson, MD, passed away on August 29, 2025.

She was the loving wife to Gene W. Wilkes, Sr.

Born on January 26, 1944 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Rosa Asbury.

Eula was a loving wife and mother. She was a devout Christian who loved her Lord and was a dedicated church member. She enjoyed bowling with friends and family.

Along with her husband, Eula is survived by her daughter; Lisa Wilkes Badstibner, and husband; Rob one brother; Chester Asbury, and wife; Maria, one sister; Daisy A. Daniels and husband; Albert, eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two sons; Gene Wilkes, Jr. and Kevin Wilkes, Sr., sisters; Margie Wells, Dorothy Riley, Nanny Phillips, Doris Asbury, Veda Rose, Beulah Combs and brothers; Hubert Asbury, Carlisle Asbury, Edward Asbury and Elmer “John” Asbury.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, September 2nd from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, MD. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 3rd at Germantown Baptist Church, 17640 Riffle Ford Rd, Germantown, MD 20874.
