Judith “Judy” Ann Twigger, 84, of Poolesville, MD, passed away on September 2, 2025.

She was the loving wife of the late Richard Twigger.

Born on October 29, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Steve Macurak and Loretta Metzger.  

Judy loved to spend the holidays and weekends with family, lunch outings with friends and every Sunday she would make the best meatballs.

Judy is survived by her daughter; Lynda D'Amelio, husband, Peter, one sister; Jean Lane, husband, Joe, and three grandchildren; Jami, Ryan, and Sam.

Along with her husband and parents; Judy was preceded in death by her son; Rick Twigger.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, MD. A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Our Lady of the Presentation, 17230 Tom Fox Ave, Poolesville, MD. Inurnment to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery, 18230 Barnesville Road, Barnesville, MD.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
