
Laura I. Jennings was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 12, 1930 to Christine Hartje Ingham and Walter Leland Ingham.
Laura had one sister, Lucy Ingham Dickey.
Laura was a loving wife to Albert Jennings, whom she met when she worked at the Pentagon, and he worked at the State Department.
She was a devoted mother to Christine Jennings Moreland and Cynthia Jennings Field. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Thomas Moreland, William Field, and Caroline Field.
Laura grew up in Sewickley, PA, and attended Sewickley Academy, Stuart Hall in Staunton, VA, as well as Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, MD. Laura had a flare for home decorating, and was an avid bridge player. Piseco Lake, NY and Longboat Key, FL were her favorite vacation spots to spend with her beloved family. Laura was loved by everyone who knew her because of her friendly, kind, and compassionate personality.
A private graveside service will be held.
