Thomas William Stowers, Sr., 83, of Adamstown, MD, passed away on August 30, 2026.

Thomas was the loving husband to the late Joan Stowers.

​

Born on September 20, 1942 in Maryland, he was the son to the late Charles Wade and Edna Mae (Warfield) Stowers.

 

Thomas was a member of AMVETS Post 2 in Frederick, Maryland.

 

Thomas is survived by his son; Thomas William Stowers, Jr. (Kathy), step-son; Jason Goldsborough (Ashley), one brother; Charles Stowers (Sandy), two grandchildren; Wade Stowers (Analise), Jane Goldsborough and soon to be great-grandson; Clark Thomas Stowers in October.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, MD, where funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Monocacy Cemetery, 19801 West Hunter Road, Beallsville, MD. The family has requested that everyone dress casual.
